lay-far returns to gamm with three slices of jazzy disco numbers that got joyful dancing written all over them. he s carefully selected his fave disco, jazz-funk and fusion tracks from herbie mann (etagui), fsb (morning) and mass production (cosmic lust) that were just asking for that special moscow edit touch. gentle perfection!

innervisions continues their collection of hidden gems which drop into their sets every now and then, dipping them into colors of great variety. this double ep marks the 10th edition of the secret weapons series.

the latest compilation from dutch imprint wolfskuil records offers up three more secret weapons continuing the series with four artists already well at home on the label.as the title suggests, each track is a heavy-hitter, but as a whole this release acts as a showcase exposing three very different approaches to peak-time techno.

after the first secret weapons release 10 years ago the series is about to continue with 12 more magnificent tracks coming on 3 lps.

more than 10 years after a limited pressing that caused huge stirs around the world, -house ya- is back on wax ! championned by ricardo villalobos at every gig last year, but also cassy, d julz, claude monnet or even bob sinclar, this one has a large spectrum appeal and is pleasing all kind of crowds. along the bomb, you get 2 more exclusive secret weapons, a very effective reboot of -house of god- for the strongheads and an acid house anthem derived from a sneak track that keeps inviting you to the deepest trip. let me tell you this one is a huge release, and very limited too. don t sleep on it.

after a longer than usual break gamm enterprises is back on black plastic but more important... we got a brand new design! for those who don t know gamm has been delivering dance music of the blacker kind for almost 15 years but always with the same look. basically, a visual facelift was long overdue. but we think you ll feel it as much as we do and it really works beautifully with our musical ideology. so, for the (new) premier release we got an incognito producer that is rumoured to come from a small town in mexico. having finally agreed for a brief skype call he appeared wearing none other than a bright luchador mask and giving one-word answers with a strong mexican accent. no matter how convincing that was we still can t help thinking his name sounds pretty close to another producer that is to put it mildly, pretty hyped at the moment. musically the ep is ranging from percussive carnival disco (carnival in manchester) to brazilian fusion grooves (jazz in italics) and independent disco/funk (dues paid fast). either way you ll definitely find something that will work your party. gamm is back and back with musical vengeance!

we got together so many wonderful tracks, we had to put out the next secret weapons on double 12inch again. various artists plus various styles we love...get your own idea.

very limited repress due to the high amount of requests. third vinyl and second edition of secret weapons v.a. from heisenberg. finally representing more russian names and one romanian producer. a1 is -dubrawa- from paul yudin, producer who has many aliases but at the end always fantastic music, previously released at treibstoff, cyclic and many more. for a2 we welcome the great moscow based trio anrilov & bvoice & sickdisco, well-known djs, residents of famous arma17 and propaganda, released at body parts, fox trax and pro-tez. b1 is -silodom- from our label-head sasha kaktus and last but not least is romanian olivian nour, who had many good releases at valioso, tzinah and his own melotherapy. as usual its vinyl only! no digital release, promos or shares!

on *secret weapons* lay-far presents three tracks that celebrate an era of when disco, jazz, afro and rare groove ruled the dance floors. first up is *quality hours* which to us is the perfect nugget for the early afternoon, mid-day session or late night summer parties. on the flip is *saaba dub*, the sort of light and loose disco-soul groove influenced by dub and last but not least *prime climate* ends things in a slightly more rare groove-ish way.

it is getting harder and harder every year to keep our secret weapons a secret. but here we are - 5 tracks on 2 12- dixon and a&#770,,,,,me have been playing for some time, now compiled for this latest chapter of the series.
